Hunger (2008)
What fascinated me with this film is how it both very political but also not. It is about how protest form when there is nothing left but ones own body, the nature of abuse from a political decision leads to inhuman treatment. Not an enjoyable film to watch by any measure, but a gripping tragic story filled with anger and desperation.
