Red Rock West (1993)
Small American towns, smoke filled bars, dusty motels, Cage looking cool. Hard to go wrong here when everything is lined up for a great pulpy fun neo-noir. Cage is really just trying to be a good guy here, though tempted at money, he perseveres over the greedy ones. Everything just escalate one small step at a time, almost in slow motion, yet increasingly crazier. Twists, turns, pulpy yet believable performances, early 90s aesthetics and great score. Good fun.
