No, the Case Is Happily Resolved (1973)
Less spectacle, more paranoia in this slower Italian eurocrime. The distrust towards law enforcement is less pronounced here, but it is does run through the entire narrative. The innocent man wrongly framed isn’t exactly making good decisions and in addition isn’t likeable either. I wasn’t so much emotionally engaged with the injustice narrative, just enjoyed the score, the general 70s paranoia that runs through it all and the procedural narrative that for the most part is very predictable and inevitable. If only they had kept the original intended ending.
