A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014)
The premise sounded really intriguing. Black and white Iranian vampire western noir. It has plenty of cool stylistic elements, but to me it lacks its own identity. Clear nods to Leone westerns with included Morricone music, but why? That was never clear to me and it became just an exercise in style. There is somewhere some interesting concepts about a female bloodsucker praying on the men of the criminal underworld, but it never materialized as more than a conceptual idea.
