Transit (2018)

As is expected from Petzold we great restrained acting and a tense atmospheric film that circles with withholding information and deception. Very odd to have a WW2 narrative play around in present times, but it somehow made perfect sense anyway. That was the most compelling thing about this film, as much as I love both Franz Rogowski and Paula Beer it didn’t elevate beyond that.
