Black Girl (1966)

A very beautiful, both in its symbolic storytelling and the great looking black and white cinematography, film that I honestly got more out of after reading its Wikipedia-entry. Not a bad thing as such as it would be silly to ignore the historical context, but it is a film that clearly benefits from some historical knowledge to get the symbolic meanings of what happens on screen.
