Fitzcarraldo (1982)

Herzog and Kinksi usually go well together, but I found this to mostly be a bore. Yes it is impressive what they did and Kinksi is the epitome of ultimate madness, but I simply found that Aguirre, the Wrath of God did basically everything better. Captured the atmosphere of man versus nature better, Kinski was even more deranged and despite also being a slow art film, not a total snooze fest like this.
