Frankie (2019)
I admit I only watched this because I saw Isabelle Huppert was in it, which is rarely a bad reason to pick something. It turned out to be one those of mellow quiet films where a whole lot of nothing happens, yet it didn’t feel boring or pointless, but not really engaging either. The “plot” is basically people talking about their their problems, all are in some form a turning point in their life, in a lovely picturesque setting. It gives a comforting atmosphere, despite the rather heavy topics of life and death, but the film also become fragmented with all its different characters. Huppert didn’t impress me much either.
