Demons (1985)

Basically a zombie slasher inside a movie theater. It utilizes its location to great effect and I like the sort of large group dynamics at play, though it does quickly evolve into a smaller character focus as people get killed in spectacular fashion. Some truly well made nasty practical effects, and just general hilarious gore action - with some great use of heavy metal. It lacks the style and finesse of a real Dario Argento, even though it has his name all over the place, but as non-serious gore entertainment it works. Amazing ending too.
