I'm Your Man (2021)
In some ways a German romcom counterpart to Her, where a humans relationship with a machine intelligence is used to explore the eternal questions on what it means to be human and the purpose of emotions, by having a blunt unemotional robot saying this loud and clear that humans usually try to cloud in metaphors. It has the right combination of being funny and giving food for thought, with Dan Stevens being not unlike Data from Star Trek TNG and his influences on his peers. In that regard I did find the movie to be successful, it is funny without being dumb and it does tackle some rather interesting philosophical question of what actual human companionship means and why an artificial imitation can’t replace it.
