Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988)

I wanted to have a go at another Almodóvar film after liking Pain and Glory so much. This is closer in style and humor to All About My Mother, it certainly lives up to its title and I had a general good fun time watching this. Sort of screwball comedy where things spiral out of control and the entire female cast deserves praise. Beyond that, it is likely not a film I will think much more about, other than another showcase of Almodóvar’s keen eye for use of colors.
