Super Happy Forever (2024)
A tragic, lovely, charming, sad little love story. Takes an unusual approach by starting with showing a clearly depressed man, who also often behaves like an asshole, as he recently lost his wife. But we also see when their relationship formed, so we get the early beginnings and the aftermath of what must have been a loving five year relationship - that we don’t get to see. We get to see the big emotions and how their contrast are able to show indirectly how they loved each other. Lingering, slow and poetic.
