Rosemary's Baby (1968)

This film is a perfect depiction of something being slightly off but you can’t put your finger on it. Rosemary and the audience feel it, but things seem pretty normal, in fact pretty good, on the surface. Really nice apartment, a seemingly good husband, and friendly - though perhaps a bit over eager - neighbors. The films influence is far and wide to this day, and Mia Farrow was the highlight for me. However, it doesn’t reach high classic status for me, as there isn’t anything wrong with it, it just get to me in the same as for example The Exorcist did.
