Summer of 85 (2020)
A lovely little film of young summer love, when falling in love burns too bright and too fast, with people wanting different things from relationship in the long term. But the great moments together still stands as something truly important in their lives. It is a very lingering narrative, beautiful looking shot on 16mm and with a great cast. The second half sort of partly lost me, as I couldn’t quite fathom what was going on with Alex’s increasing obsession.
