What Have They Done to Your Daughters? (1974)
What a fantastic mix of genres. It has a serious police investigations that leads into a big political scandal involving a prostitution ring with underage girls. But in addition it is also a full blown gory gialo slasher, atmospheric score, well made car chases and that signature creative camerawork. The gore and blood is mostly held back, but we get to hear plenty of the horrors. Though every once in a while we briefly get some pretty extreme shots. I have now seen at least some amount of films that does both these things, and sometimes combining them to an extent, but not like this where both elements are given the same amount of seriousness. Like a mix of Torso and Revolver
