Palm Springs (2020)

This was pretty fun, and a little sweet. I liked how they dealt with the timeloop by just having fun. At least for a while. It isn’t just all fun and games, as there are some rather tragic stories beneath the sometimes crude humor. With Nyles having been in this limbo for so long he can barely remember who he was before. And of course the various skeletons that come out of the closet during the repeated wedding night. It is all wrapped up in a nice message about appreciating the present moment, being aware about your influence on people around you and consequences for your actions. Maybe not exactly new or very deep insight into those themes, but being wrapped in an entertaining story makes it worthwhile.
