Nightcap (2000)
This didn’t really grab me, but there was still enough going for it to be a pleasant enough little french thriller of sorts. It doesn’t reach the high levels of La Cérémonie, another Chabrol + Huppert thing. It isn’t as thrilling or exciting, but it still creates an atmosphere of something being slight off or amiss. Again especially when it comes to Huppert’s character. She once again plays the unreadable slightly crazy person with ulterior motives.
