Breakheart Pass (1975)

This was decent enough for a late night Friday movie. More of a train action movie than a western despite the time period. It starts a little slow, but once the ball starts rolling with mysterious deaths and sabotages, the action keeps the momentum high. The gradual reveal of “what the hell is going” on is paced nicely and Bronson delivers as 70s style action hero, without being really remarkable. There are some pretty spectacular action scenes and it was entertaining most of the time, but it won’t go down in history as anything particularly noteworthy.
