Blow Out (1981)
The way De Palma integrates film-making into this thriller plot is really cool. It makes both the themes and plot fit well together. That De Palma also utilizes impeccable sound and camerawork makes it even better. Travolta shows that he can do more than dance and be look great. While it is mostly a serious thriller, the humor never feels out of place. The scenes where they try to find a screaming girl for their movie is hilarious. I need to watch more Brian De Palma.
