Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond (2017)
Sort of a study in the damages and side effects of method acting going too far. Man on the Moon is a masterpiece and it was great to see some crazy behind the scenes footage. Maybe Jim couldn’t have done it without going so far at the set, and one has to wonder whether it is worth the price. And maybe his approach also misunderstood the real Andy to some extent. We hear Lawler saying that the real Andy was way nicer at least. But you gotta acknowledge how committed Jim was to blend fiction and reality in honor Andy.
