The Structure of Crystal (1969)
This debut film by Zanussi is small and feels personal. I admit somewhat boring for me as I gradually lost interest in the conversations between the two friends about their different life philosophies, but there was still enough to intrigue me to at least give another chance for a Zanussi film. The cinematography is simple and precise, complemented with an uncomplicated score that becomes more than the sum of its parts.
