The Fall (2006)

I think I added this to my watchlist because it was in various best cinematography type list, and it sure delivered in that department. There is some incredible visual storytelling, creative editing and plenty of beautiful unique locations. It really is a labor of love from the director and a unique piece in modern film history. The director has a background in commercials and maybe that explains why the storytelling and characterization is a bit lacking. As impressed as I was with the visuals, what was actually going on was less interesting.
