All the President's Men (1976)
A very process orientated film that was a bit hard to grasp with great prior knowledge on the Watergate scandal. That is mostly my own shortcoming and not a fault with the film, because when this was released the audience didn’t need a history lesson.
Even though all the details became fuzzy with who got money from who and all the names thrown around, the whole investigative journalistic process was still fascinating to watch. I liked the very neutral style of directing without any music or unnecessary emotional scenes. It is the process that is important, not the people.
