Where Is the Friend's House? (1987)

A young boy ends up with tackling a frustrating RPG-like minor quest, battling adults that refuse to try and understand him. Kiarostami has a keen eye for showing real people with a history attached to them, within a very small focused slice of life setting. The young boy gives a very convincing performance here, and I think most people can relate to his constant frustration with the adults not properly listening to him because he is just a kid. He really is a good kid, but is treated with an indifference by most adults. Really something to think about as a parent as well.
