Day of Anger (1967)
Plenty of things to like in this classic spaghetti western. Lee van Cleef is cool, the story is interesting and the conflict between mentor and mentee is well developed.
But the whole execution doesn’t hit the mark. The young protoge is too good looking, the score is uninspiring, the towns are devoid of life, the sets looks too much like sets and what is up with all the potted green plants in this dusty western town?
